The tallest man in the world at 8 ft 3 inches still lives. He is from Turkey. 7 ft 8 inches is not that impressive. Tacko Fall of the Celtics is 7 ft 6 inches. Muresan who used to play for Washington and the Nets was 7 ft 7 inches. Most of these excessively tall men die from heart disease. Combination of a malfunctioning pituitary gland and inability to pump blood due to height. They develop irregular heart beat and are susceptible to getting a stroke.
